One of my favorite things about home schooling are the field trips. They are always such a fun way to learn. I enjoyed them when I was a kid and now I enjoy taking my kids. Today our field trip took us to the Snyder Fire Station. It was an honor to meet several of the men that help to keep us safe. They were great with the kids, answering their questions, engaging them to learn, and they were just overall great guys. They even had "goodies" for the kids as we were leaving.
